A slashy look at the episodes of TOS, from friendship into love.

The choices we make define who we are. This is a series that charts the first year of JamesT. Kirk's first year in spcae and beyond, there will be first times, old times, family times and times we wish we could forget.

This series will be a trilogy.

Spock and Kirk meet at the Academy and sparks fly. This series follws them through their getting together, the events of the movie (slightly twisted) and eventually starting a family.

AUTHOR'S NOTE: I will start writing the third installment (called 'That'll teach you') in September... hopefully

Nero's actions changed history; the Federation may never be what it could have been, and they've been on the brink of war for far too long.

Universe summary: "One never makes decisions in a vacuum. The decisions I've made, and the decisions that others have made, will affect me in ways that I can never anticipate. Those decisions create the harmony of our lives, shaking our past, shaping our present, and resonating into the future. Our decisions echo into eternity."

All of these stories could stand alone, can stand alone, in a vacuum. But they shouldn't. The choices that Jim and Spock make are so many threads, woven into the tapestry of their lives. Such threads should never be considered alone. All of these stories are connected, and should be considered together.

The classic story "The Price," and its magnificent sequel, the novel Courts of Honor.

Think Calvin and Hobbs with Kirk, Spock and the gang.  It will start off as friendship, then pre-slash and slash depending on the age of the characters- in the spin off ficlets, the ages will vary.  I am at heart an TOS girl, but I haven't decided if this will be TOS or Reboot.
