So touching and so intense. Spock Prime's painful/joyful memories, Bones' dedication, his will not to let anything untried, the tenderness that surfaces from under his gruff exterior. And love wins in the end, it wins because they didn't give up hope and had such a strong faith in "that simple feeling".

I absulutely adore the moment when Jim comes back to consciousness and we hear his unmistakable mind voice!!

Author's Response:

Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm so thrilled to hear the story worked for you so well. It was so intense to write, and it's so ... weird that it means so much to me to hear that it resonated with readers. <3

I loved every minute, but what made me smile was the part was where McCoy kissed 'Old Spock'.  Was this a definite one shot or could there possibly be more?  I know I'm being greedy, but please say there'll be more.  Either way, thank you so much for sharing!

Author's Response:

Thank you so much for giving my story a chance and for taking the time to leave such a lovely comment for me! I'm so glad you enjoyed that moment between McCoy and Old Spock ... I have such a thing for Spock Prime. *sigh*

Eventually, this story will tie in with my epic WIP "The Resilience of Hope", but the sexual dynamics presented in this story will remain mostly an exception. Emotional transference as a lot to answer for. :-P (But it's such a convenient plot device!)  And I'm afraid it will take months until I get to actually incorporating this into RoH, since I'm writing the full five-year mission. The scene in which McCoy watches K/S is already posted, though.

Very well-written and an interesting side bond, so to speak, between Selek and McCoy, not something we see very often in the combinations presented on this archive.

Author's Response:

Thank you for reading, and for taking the time to leave such a kind comment. I'm thrilled you liked the story ... I know it's a bit strange so I was a little worried about reactions ...

ah, to have love and sex heal agony - isnt that the ideal.  would love to read more about this; about their recovery, about (perhaps?) a bromance and support for both Elder Spock and McCoy?

Author's Response:

This will eventually tie in with "The Resilience of Hope", so at some point there will be more details about how it all happened and about their recovery. (Very eventually, though; "Everything I Do" takes place in 2264 while I'm currently writing 2261 for RoH, so that part will probably only be written at the end of this year or sometime next year.) Thank you for reading and for taking the time to leave a comment!

This was....incredible,weird,sexy,emotional.... There's just not one word that fits. I was moved by Leonard's love for Jim and Spock. Thank you for a fantastic tale.

Author's Response:

Thank you so much for your kind words. This is definitely one of the strangest stories I've written to date, but it demanded to be told ... so I did my best.
