Who is JunoMagic? And why JunoMagic?

Juno – when I needed an online name, one of my cats graciously agreed to share her name with me, and I became Juno.

Magic – although I do believe in magic, especially the magic woven with words and songs and stories, the magical part of my penname simply derives from my e-mail address: juno AT magic DOT ms

… and if you want to know more about me, you will simply have to ask me!

My Magic

What I love about my stories
—is that they are.

What I hate about are
—is that ares are too big for my songs.

What I love about my song
—is that I can sing it to my paintings.
(They won't complain.)

What I hate about my paintings
—is how less than me they are.

What I love about are
—is that I can fill one with my silences.

What I hate about my silence
—is that one day it will be lasting.

My stories are my song.
My paintings are my silence.
I give them to you.
But my thoughts belong to me.

The terrible pressure that had constricted Leonard’s chest for two long months had finally lifted. He could breathe again. To get to New Vulcan had been a race against time. (Against death.) But although the best mind-healer of the colony admitted defeat, the elder Spock persisted, putting his own life and sanity on the line. The previous night he managed to stabilize Jim’s and Spock’s brain functions in a deep three-way mel
