About Time by J S Cavalcante Rated: ADULT (NC-17) starstarstarstarstar [Reviews - 13]
Summary:

While camping in Yosemite, Kirk and Spock have an overdue conversation with McCoy.  Originally published in 1993 in the print fanzine As I Do Thee # 20.

Note: I realize my description of the singing voices of the captains may require the suspension of disbelief. However, I have always seen any representation of Star Trek, including the original series, as only an approximation of a much more excellent reality existing somewhere--"out there, thataway." In my admittedly outlandish imagination, they can sing. *g*

Idol by J S Cavalcante Rated: ADULT (NC-17) starstarstarstarstar [Reviews - 16]
Summary:

Spock found himself "strangely drawn" to Gary Seven’s black cat, Isis, in "Assignment: Earth." At the very end of the episode, we saw her as a cat-eared woman. She explains to us why, and demonstrates to Spock why he should go after his heart’s desire.

Summary:

In the aftermath of Balance of Terror, both Kirk and Spock struggle to accept the violence and the deaths. Summary:

Note: Part of the Kirk/Spock Online Festival.  Published to the Yahoo group ASCEML on 11-03-00.

Acknowledgments: Many thanks to my dear beta-readers, Islaofhope and Animasola. I find the process of declaring a story finished and posting it to be somewhat unnerving, so I am enormously relieved to have had these trusted friends look over the copy first. Their suggestions were invaluable. Any errors that remain are strictly mine. Thanks also to kira-nerys for boundless patience and for her leadership in online festival-making.

Betas: Graciously performed by Islaofhope and Animasola, who are both brilliant and warp-speed-fast; thank you both so much! It was as much fun as writing the piece in the first place.
