For some reason no one ever discovered what was happening on Tarsus (a war, Kudos declared there indepedence, whatever) . The famine eventually ends, but the only survivors are Kudos, Kudos's men, the people who submit to Kudos, and Kirk and his kids (who are hiding somewhere).

Years later (about the time Kirk is 17 or 18) Starfleet finally comes (maybe Jim built something and sent out a distress signal?) Jim meets Spock during the rescue somehow (Maybe he eventually convinces him to join Starfleet and they  get together). He may or may not meet Bones, and or Pike there, but please no magically making the whole crew appear or anything.

Bonus: Kirk being overly protective of "his kids."

Categories: Fiction Characters: Chris Pike, McCoy
Summary: Spock and Kirk meet at starfleet and fall in love. Spock's family adores Jim. I don't want Amanda to die in this. Also want lots of Uhura bashing with Spock disliking her. Bones likes Jim but gets over it later and becomes happy for the couple. Multi-chapter story and set in Addams universe. Bonus: m-preg for Jim Bonus: Pike is like a father to Jim

Okay, so I'm going to issue a challenge and let's see who bites! Must be set in ST:XI verse is all I ask. You have full creative rights to take this prompt where-ever it carries you as a writer.

So, here goes: The Enterprise is six months into its 5 year mission and its Crew are building the foundations to those important relationships Selek had hinted to in the 2009 film. However, Spock has been struggling to deal with the loss of his Homeworld and his Mother; his efforts are meeting with little success.

Soon, after a Rescue Mission, Spock discovers that the Enterprise has two new passengers he never thought it would be possible to see again. Stonn and T'Pring have survived the Destruction of Vulcan. Now, not only has Spock discovered that his Betrothed is alive but also that the Crew of the Enterprise were under the mistaken impression, along with its Communications Officer, that he had a relationship with Uhura he was unaware of.

Stonn, on the other hand, informs Spock of his "lack of feelings" towards T'Pring and of his attraction towards the Enterprise's Captain instead.

Basically, Spock is left to deal with two overly competative females while at the same time as saving Jim's virtue. That is, after all, his duty as Jim's First Officer is it not?

Will Spock ever figure out his feelings towards in Captain in time or will he loose his chance with Jim to Stonn?

A/N: If my English Grammar is a bit hard to read, I apologize. It's not by best language when I am writing quickly.

A chaptered fic based on Les Miserables.

Jim- Cosette

Chris Pike- Valjean

Frank- Thenardier

Winona Kirk-Fantine

You would figure out where the other characters go but I definitely want Jim as Cosette and Spock as Marius.

I was watching A Few Good Men last night, and the second I saw Tom Cruise waltz into Demi Moore's office munching on an apple and being an all around cocky shit, I knew I had to post this challenge, which calls for a reboot of the movie starring our favorite ST:XI characters.

I'm envisioning Kirk as Lt. Kaffee, Bones as Lt. Weinberg, and Spock as Lt. Crd. Galloway. (I'm fine with Spock being human, but no gender bending of any kind, please.) You can have the rest of the cast fill whichever roles you like. (I picture Sulu and Chekov as Dawson and Downey, but that's just a suggestion)

Can be a modern AU or a Starfleet "JAG" AU.

Don't feel as if you have to strictly adhere to the plot (or sub-plots) of the movie. (If I wanted to read the transcript of the movie with the character's names changed to ST characters, I could do it myself with a search and replace.) I very much want everyone to be in character despite their radically different careers.

The only other requirement is some yummy K/S, but if you want to keep it to sparks-flying pre-slash, that’s fine by me.

  • Areel Shaw for the prosecution
  • Some cute Spock & Chekov interaction (nothing slashy-- just big brother/mentor/two geeky peas in a pod stuff)

Cannedebonbon drew a beautiful picture of Spock in a geisha costume We both agree that this would make a wonderful story. Historically, men were the original geisha's and I would like to see a fic where Spock, was perhaps stolen as a child from his prominent family and sold to a geisha house in another province. James Kirk is captain of the Enterprise, a western ship on an exploratory mission to open trade with Japan.

What I'd like:

  • Bottom Spock, please, with lots of angst and some h/c sprinkled in.
  • Geisha's are entertainers, not whores. I would like to see Jim misunderstand the roll of a geisha and Spock sets him straight.
  • Sarek is the minister/lord chosen to facilitate the trade agreement and hires Spock (unknowing that he's the son that was kidnapped from him years ago) the most prominent geisha in the land.
  • Spock's parentage is discovered and in order to save his families honor, he leaves with his lover (Kirk) to go back to the west. With homosexuality bringing a death sentence in Europe, he continues to dress and act geisha. None of the crew (except for McCoy) know that he's a male.

*Bonus for Sybok (Sarek's older son from a previous marriage) being behind the kidnapping plot to ensure his place as heir and in revenge for Sarek setting aside his mother in favor of Amanda, a western woman that was the sole survivor of a shipwreck.

*Bonus for Kirk trying to seduce his geisha and winds up falling in love. **Double bonus for the feeling being mutual.

*Bonus for it to be illegal for Spock to handle weapons, but surprising his aggressors/assassins with martial arts (neck pinch?)

*Bonus for McCoy finding out Spock is male from having to give him medical aid. How surprised his is, is up to you.

*Bonus for a touching and emotional scene between father and son at their reunion and again at their parting.

That's what I'm hoping for, but I'll be just as happy with any kind of Geisha Spock fic. I know writing is hard work, but making it historical is even harder, so however this comes out, the author will have earned a lifetime of virtual hugs from me. :)

Please check out Cannedebonbon's drawing for inspiration.

How different would the universe be if Sarek had been killed during a diplomatic mission and Amanda had taken a young Spock to live on Earth? Hopefully a longish fic and I prefer Abrams universe AU with bottom/Spock, angst, hurt/comfort.

*You can decide Spock's age when Sarek is killed and he and his mother move to Earth(prefer anything preteen).

*Would like to see Amanda working in an academic world - could growing up in a more liberal atmosphere affect Spock by him acting more human (learned behavior through association) or more Vulcan (to honor his father) - you decide.

*Without the anger at the VSA, would Spock choose Starfleet or would a similar atmosphere in academia give the same impetus and how would this affect his meeting with Jim Kirk?

  •  Bonus for Christopher Pike dating Amanda.
  • Bonus for Spock retaining heir of house and having to endure Vulcan training at the Vulcan embassy.
  •  Bonus for an interfering T'Pau having disagreements with Amanda on the proper way to raise Spock.
  •  Bonus for Amanda thinking that Spock needs a male influence and asks Chris to do father/son things like camping and some kind of sport.
  •  Bonus for Chris (now stepfather) to set up a blind date for Spock with Jim Kirk, the son of an old friend and also a cadet at the academy.

I'd be very interested to see someones take this and have fun with it. :)

Jim's daemon never settled and Spock's, who had taken a small and easily hidden form, starts shifting again after Khan and she shifts into big animals like Le-matyas and Sehlats. Jim's shifts to prominently motherly animals like lionesses etc.

Thanks to Khan blood both Jim and his daemon make it back from death and Spock's daemon starts stalking Kirk's in her stalking of crewmembers and daemon in need of help around the ship... With complete disregard of social rules like "no touching others/others' deamons" and the  like.

Bonus if Chekov's daemon is a pup cocker spaniel and Sulu's is a red panda, double bonus if Kirk's daemon tries to lick-bath both XD

Sarek has been experiencing a odd series of COMM calls from his Son. Spock it seems has been accidently sending messages to his Father during events on the Enterprise. "Butt Dialing" as the Humans seem to refere to it.

It's up to you to choose if the Events are audio or video based messages. Have fun with the whole experience! I can imagine you could keep it to a one shot or a whole multi-chapter story.

There could be humor or angst. Which ever way you choose to take it, have fun with the possibilities!

Okey, i will try to do this in the most decent english, but be aware that i haven't practiced my english in a long time, so i apologize in advance. :(

So, the challenge go like this: AU, in wich spock and kirk live in the 21th century. Jim is in the navy (or some sort of milicia) and spock is a scientist that stars working like an adviser for some kind top secreat project.

They start hanging out like friends at first but then Jim stars having feelings for spock, but he deny it, and tell himself that is just that he really likes him like a friend.

Extra points if :

-You manege to keep Spock IC :D
-Spock gives the first kiss and Jim starts to freak out but then totally responds to the kiss
-They are totally sci-fi geeks.

the lenght is up to you but i think it should be around 10K or more in order to really develop the story and the relationship.

Good luck and have fun :D

In an interesting turn of events, Jim Kirk (Abrams' Verse) gets transported to another Reality (transporter malfuction, alien technology, up to author's discretion). In this reality, when Nero destroyed the USS Kelvin, Jim's counterpart died as an infant. Jim is now on the Enterprise, where Chris Pike is still the Captain, and Spock his First Officer. Both of whom, among everyone else, knows nothing of him. (By this time, Jim has become a more mature person due to his Captaincy, losing most- not all- of his brash recklessness.)

Another major turn, in this Reality, is that instead of Vulcan being destroyed, Nero attacked Earth, devastating the planet into becoming inhabitable and its population all but extinct. The surviving Humans have moved to nearby colonies, some even staying on Vulcan, as it is one of the closest Federation-aliged planets to Earth. Until Jim can find a way to return to his realm- if he even decides to return-(where his Spock is in a commited relationship with Uhura), he has decided to help the people in the alternate Reality.

Guess everyone will get to learn who he is-all over again, including a curious- and single- Vulcan First Officer. Eventual K/S.

BONUS POINTS: In the alternate reality, Bones is still married, Uhura and Scotty are dating, and Spock is slighty more accepting of his Human side. (His mother still lives).

BONUS POINTS: Spock finds Kirk to be an extreme enigma- one he relishes in unravelling.

BONUS POINTS: Kirk finds this new Spock just as attractive as the one from his realm, yet unique in his own way. However, he is hesitant to let his attraction grow because he may have to return home soon. (Despite this, his attraction intensifies nonetheless as he comes to know the Vulcan who is so much like- yet entirely different- from the Spock in his reality.)

MEGA BONUS POINTS: Until Kirk can find a way to return home (assuming the author wants him to return home), Kirk is given a position on the Enterprise, in order to put his talents to good use. Maybe in Engineering?

ENDING: Up to author- James can stay in new realm to help rebuild/stay with Spock, or return to his realm. HAVE FUN.

In this AU, it was Humanity who went through an Awakening instead of Vulcans. Humans are extremely peaceful, curious, and are staunch pacifists, while Vulcans are still passionate (and dangerous). A young James Kirk, Second in Command to Chris Pike, finds his outlooks on life challenged when the Enterprise is overrun by a Vulcan warship. In the hectic alarm, James and a few others (your choice) are taken captive by the warrior Vulcans, but the Enterprise manages to get away in the end. James, himself, is taken property of Vulcan Prince Spock, but all may not be lost when Spock discovers James is his T'hy'la. BONUS POINTS: If the story is very long, and if there is some K/S loving. MEGA BONUS POINTS: If another Vulcan (perhaps Stonn) desires James for their own. PREFER: Top!Spock, Bottom!Kirk NOTE: Feel free to elaborate on Humankind's evolution (they can live longer, have certain "abilities" if you wish, etc.) MAJOR RULE? HAVE FUN.

Summary: Features preggers!Kirk. I would like for Spock to still be in a relationship with Uhura at start of story. And Jim has secretly been in love with his First Officer for the past year. No one knows of his attraction to Spock, not even Bones. (Though he can be suspicious if you want). During a scout out on a once technologically advanced planet, Spock and Kirk stumble across an old, left behind piece of technology. The technology feeds off of emotional energy to create new life; it senses Jim's utmost desires to be with Spock, and so it activates and causes Jim to be impregnated, with Spock as his child's DNA "donor". Neither Jim or Spock are aware that Jim has been impregnated at first, but soon they become aware. Another side effect of the machine is that it causes the pregnant person to become more dependent on the one s/he has feelings for, so Jim's attraction magnifies, and it takes all he can not to let Spock find out. BONUS POINTS: If Spock, at first, wants nothing to do with the baby because he is with Uhura, but his paternal instincts start to kick in and his attraction to Kirk grows intensely. BONUS POINTS: If Uhura turns out to be mature in the end and wants Spock and Kirk to be together.SUPER BONUS POINTS: Spock becomes possessive over pregnant!Kirk, and finds his pregnant Captain sexually tempting, and gets aroused constantly when near Kirk. MEGA SUPER POINTS: There is eventual (lot of) pregnant sex, and Kirk is a "virgin" when it comes to men. TROPE: Bottom!Jim

Jim is the one in a relationship when he has a drunk fling with Spock. Not knowing Spock is completely in love with him. After that they decide to forget about it. Spock ends up being prenant (vulcan thing) and decides not to tell Jim or anyone because he doesn't want to embarress/end Jim's relationship. When it gets to the point he can't hide it anymore he disappers from everyone's life. Its many years later (7-9) that anyone finds out about the baby.

*Jim can be with Carol or someone you just make up

*Jim could be getting married to said girl and the bacholer party is where "it" happened

*Abrams Verse

*Amanda didn't die

*Boy child

*NO ONE on the Enterprise knows why Spock left

*Spock Prime takes one look at the baby and knows its Jim's

I would like a story that is based on Fifty Shades of Grey. Jim could be based on Christian and Spock on Anastasia or the other way around. I thought it would make a really good K/S story.

*Abrams Verse

*Narada never happened

*Kinky times (Of course!)

*I want some fluffy scenes to..

*I want the ending to to happy

*I want it to be a long story please

*If you feel up to a challange you could have mpreg (it would be interesting) if so boy baby please

*Sarek trying to be closer to Spock after not being there for him (you can make a background for that)

*You could have everybody come together somehow

*Jim could or couldn't be in Starfleet at some time - your choice

If you feel up to it have at it I look foward to see what you do with this! (=

AU. Academy Fic. Jim's maternal bloodline is that of Federation alligned Humanoid race known as Veenans (Veena for singular), a peaceful, advanced race that are also heavily empathic. Because of their genetic evolution, some are even telekenetic. This species is uniguely united; seeing as all others as "brothers" and "sisters". Also, because of their genetic makeup, Veenans hardly, if ever, engage in sex with someone without a proper empathic bond to keep them stable.  One sign of a Veena is that their irises glow slightly when they are emotionally overwhelmed or excited. Veenu blood is strong in Jim, and after joining Starfleet, becomes infatuated with the Vulcan professor Spock. Due to Spock's half-Human heritage with a blend of Vulcan passions (albeit repressed), it appeals to Jim, who begins making an empathic bond with the Vulcan unknowingly. Spock finds Jim's company- as well as that of Uhura's -appealing. He, intially, sees Jim as nothing more than a friendly aqcuaintance, but overtime the Cadet's intelligence and friendly personality attracts him more and more. Eventual K/S. POINTS: Once Jim finds out he is unconsciously bonding with Spock, becomes horrified that Spock may not reciprocate, and tries to avoid the Vulcan in order to find a way to dissolve the bond. Spock becomes suspicious and won't take the hint to leave Jim alone. BONUS POINTS: Jim's mom is a sweetheart, and Jim confides in her his feelings with Spock, who then helps Jim come to accept what he feels. (Due to Winona being Veena, she is affectionate and close with her son, despite losing her husband at his birth.) BONUS POINTS: Before Spock realizes he's in love with Jim, Jim becomes slightly protective/possessive of Spock. Not violent- just somewhat defensive and territorial. Jim cannot help the primative instincts rising within him, and a few times confuses his friends, himself and Spock by the protective streak that he has over the Professor. PURE LOVE: If Spock's parents come for a Starfleet gala, and bring T'Pring and her family to visit as well. Jim does NOT like it, and gets paranoid/territorial of seeing T'Pring and Spock together.

I might have to my own challenge but, if I have time but I really want to see this story. I am reposting because it was too confusing the first time around, and the formatting was bad. On to the challenge:

Universe: Abrams regular or Mirror Abrams, (if you can make it work in any other then more power to you. I haven’t seen all the episodes in TOS so I can’t speak to that; I know I am a bad fan.)

Trope: !Bottom Kirk

So Kirk likes Spock, and Spock likes Kirk but he will not admit it even to himself. So at some sort diplomatic mission to New Vulcan Kirk meets another Vulcan male. The problem is that the other Vulcan ends up falling for Kirk, and gets himself assigned to the Enterprise. Of course Spock has to find out. !Bottom Kirk please.

Can be any rating you want and any length you want.

Bonus points:

~The other Vulcan male is someone who picked on Spock as a child.

~Same Vulcan male sees the feelings that Spock has for Kirk and originally hooks up with Kirk to hurt Spock even more.

~Lots of Kinky sex

~Kirk being a “virgin” when it comes to men

Any other things you want to add you want just have fun. I will give Spock and Kirk shape cookies to anyone who gets all the bonus points, as soon as I figure out how to make them and make them look good. ::smiles::

I would like to see an AU of the Reboot Universe in which Kirk is born deaf. He is neglected/abused by his mother/step-father. He runs away to become homeless, either as a pre-teen or a teenager. Depending on his age, he is eventually discovered/rescued by either Sarek & Amanda (if pre-teen) or Spock or Spock Prime (if a teenager), who help him to recover, leading to an eventual relationship with Spock. Starfleet may or may not figure in this story. While I would prefer a long story, I'm mainly interested in a character study rather than an action plot, i.e., I don't give a rat's ass about Nero or Kahn. Also, if you somehow want to get Kirk to Vulcan to be rescued by Sarek & Amanda, that would be great. Other crew members are optional (don't feel you have to shoehorn everyone in somehow), but McCoy would be nice to have along and maybe Chris Pike.

Categories: Fiction Characters: Amanda, Chris Pike, McCoy, Sarek
Summary: First challenge, kind of long (because, face it, I'm incapable of writing anything (including a challenge) in under 1000 words.)

The Enterprise is on a rescue mission, and Admiral Pike can't seem to stop interfering. He has a reason-- a personal connection with the party being rescued.

Here's the deal: this is a character-heavy story with a plot draped over it. The extent of the K/S is pretty optional.
  1. Story is set maybe six months to a year after the beginning of the mission. Long enough for the crew to kind of be in a groove, but maybe not entirely.

  2. Pike considers Kirk something of a personal project. He isn't necessarily interfering, but he tries to stack the deck in Kirk's favor, gives him lots of advice, and is generally mentoring him to be the greatest captain in Starfleet history.

  3. Spock served under Pike in the past, at length (not just for the few days of the Narada incident). In fact, Pike is something of a mentor to Spock, has coached him through his career, showed faith in his leadership, etc. Spock is very loyal to Pike.

  4. Sensing a theme here? Pike also more or less hand-picked the crew of the Enterprise-- young hotshots and experienced officers who had served under him. He was mostly trying to surround Kirk with talent during his first command, but the crew is also full of officers and enlisted that Pike has seen something in. He is seriously beloved by the whole. damn. crew.
So, when Pike occasionally slips into old habits and issues an order, a significant portion of the crew snaps to without thinking twice.

Wishlist (instead of requirements):
  1. The rescue mission isn't a slam dunk. There is some complicating factor that makes it possible that the Enterprise won't get there in time. Whether or not they succeed in the rescue is author's choice (though this fan does love her angst... hint hint hint)

  2. Pike has years (decades?) of command experience under his belt vs. Kirk's very limited experience. Kirk basically catapulted from cadet to captain without passing go, and while he's brilliant and charismatic and has great instincts, he does not have anything approaching Pike's experience, and at least on one occasion, the crew responds to Pike's command. Kirk has been in space for long enough to have a very good handle on the real situation. He knows more about the Enterprise than Pike does, and Pike has not been on the bridge of a starship lately. On at least one occasion, Kirk's 'street knowledge' of what is going on in the sector and on the ship outweighs all of Pike's past experience and his knowledge of the specs and politics of the situation. This is what the story is about-- Pike and Kirk.

  3. Kirk is a grown-up and Pike is a good guy. Neither of them is always right, but neither of them makes dumb calls either. I'd love to see a scene where one of them issues an order that results in some major fuck-up that seriously jeopardizes the Enterprise's ability to complete the rescue. If it also jeopardizes some crewmembers, even better. Heart-to-heart ensues where the one who fucked up wonders (either to the other one, or to a third party) whether he chose that course of action because it was the opposite of what the other one would have done.

  4. The injuries Pike sustained on the Narada have had a lasting effect on him. I'm not necessarily after Pike in the wheelchair blinking out his responses, but he's not up to space-jumping or crawling through airvents or anything like that. He has some physical impairment that is going to keep him at a desk for the rest of his life.

  5. Assuming you go the K/S route, I prefer that Pike comes on board the day after Spock and Kirk's first time. They've become steadily closer as friends, but the tumble in bed wasn't exactly pre-planned, and between the stresses of the mission and Pike being there, they don't have much time to talk it out. Their relationship is certainly against regulation, but to what extent is author's choice. They do have reason to try and keep it under wraps though. In other words, I don't want Kirk and Spock making like a couple of bunnies all over the ship and the admiral walking in on them and everything's hunky-dory, k?

  1. Spock frequently gets stuck in the middle between Pike and Kirk, and his loyalties are seriously split between the two of them, and neither is happy when he takes the other's side.

  2. McCoy is unquestioningly on Kirk's side, even when Kirk is just plain wrong. Mega bonus if McCoy is a little skittish around Pike because he (McCoy) knows that he did a major no-no in bringing Cadet Kirk onto the Enterprise in the first place (even though that worked out well in the end). Ultra Mega Bonus if Pike notices and subtly teases him about it (especially if he acts really stern around McCoy).

  3. Kirk and Pike have a complicated relationship-- father/son, superior/subordinate, teacher/student certainly, but also are friends and truly like each other.

  4. At some point, both Pike and Kirk are on the bridge and Pike keeps issuing orders and Kirk finally gets out of the captain's chair and tells him, "At this time, Admiral, I am prepared to offer you command of the Enterprise." Mega bonus if it's in a crisis situation and Pike refuses. Ultra mega bonus if the two of them were actually issuing contradictory orders and confusing the crew.

  5. Pike's presence somehow prevents Spock and Kirk from having any private time together. Their relationship was in a fragile stage to begin with, and it gets more and more awkward.

  6. Spock sympathizes with Pike over feeling helpless while someone he loves is in jeopardy/lost.

  7. Kirk gets that Pike's career as a captain was cut short by his injuries at the hands of Nero, and does hand command over to him at some point. Mega bonus if this comes at the end Kirk uses the opportunity to finally slip out for some nookie with Spock.

Exceptional ultra mega super bonus for authors taking artistic license with this prompt and making it their own!
