I was watching A Few Good Men last night, and the second I saw Tom Cruise waltz into Demi Moore's office munching on an apple and being an all around cocky shit, I knew I had to post this challenge, which calls for a reboot of the movie starring our favorite ST:XI characters.

I'm envisioning Kirk as Lt. Kaffee, Bones as Lt. Weinberg, and Spock as Lt. Crd. Galloway. (I'm fine with Spock being human, but no gender bending of any kind, please.) You can have the rest of the cast fill whichever roles you like. (I picture Sulu and Chekov as Dawson and Downey, but that's just a suggestion)

Can be a modern AU or a Starfleet "JAG" AU.

Don't feel as if you have to strictly adhere to the plot (or sub-plots) of the movie. (If I wanted to read the transcript of the movie with the character's names changed to ST characters, I could do it myself with a search and replace.) I very much want everyone to be in character despite their radically different careers.

The only other requirement is some yummy K/S, but if you want to keep it to sparks-flying pre-slash, that’s fine by me.

  • Areel Shaw for the prosecution
  • Some cute Spock & Chekov interaction (nothing slashy-- just big brother/mentor/two geeky peas in a pod stuff)

Jim's daemon never settled and Spock's, who had taken a small and easily hidden form, starts shifting again after Khan and she shifts into big animals like Le-matyas and Sehlats. Jim's shifts to prominently motherly animals like lionesses etc.

Thanks to Khan blood both Jim and his daemon make it back from death and Spock's daemon starts stalking Kirk's in her stalking of crewmembers and daemon in need of help around the ship... With complete disregard of social rules like "no touching others/others' deamons" and the  like.

Bonus if Chekov's daemon is a pup cocker spaniel and Sulu's is a red panda, double bonus if Kirk's daemon tries to lick-bath both XD

Everything is in bloom in my neck of the woods and everyone is sneezing with hay fever and allergies. I'm asking for a fic that can be comedic or angsty where for once there's a flu or virus floating around the Enterprise and the crew members with iron based blood are immune and the crew members with copper based (namely Spock, but he needs enough company to keep sickbay hopping) are miserable.

Prefer Reboot Kirk/Spock in an established relationship.

Symptoms are up to you, but they must be bad enough to make a stoic Vulcan miserable.

*Bonus for Kirk blackmailing McCoy into bottling up his snark about Spock's Vulcan physiology until its killing him to be nice and he explodes.

*Bonus for some reason that's Spock can't or is unable to enter a healing trance.

*Bonus for someone singing the Soft Kitty song from The Big Bang Theory TV show.

Have fun!

Summary: After the battle, Kirk send Pike on a shuttle to earth asap while the Enterprise takes a slower route to pick up survivors and Spock Prime. Kirk uses skills learned on Tarsus IV to help children etc. with trauma and loss. Gaila lives and is a Big Damn Hero. Spock is jealous of Gaila and Kirk sharing is mind with others. When they get back to earth, Spock is repped for assaulting Kirk, abandoning him, and putting Uhura on Enterprise due to favouritism. Pike's original best pick is assigned to Enterprise for the 5YM and Uhura is reprimanded for abandoning post, etc. and assigned elsewhere as Ensign. Comm. Officers are supposed to be perceptive and in 3 yrs she didn't see Kirk's potential and was off base with Spock - which is why Pike didn't pick her. Spock is Lieu Comdr or Lieu. Chekhov and Gaila are Lieus, Scotty and Bones are Comdrs, and they receive medals etc. Spock now has alot to think about - how will his relationship with Kirk build through the first missions? Virgin!Spock. Bottom!Spock. Bonus - Kirk stays in touch with Vulcans and is a bit of a hero with power. Bonus 2 - smart!Kirk. Bonus 3 - 7 - allergies, hurt!Kirk, alcohol contest/drunk with Bones, (past?) affair with Gary Mitchell, interaction with Kor from TOS (Kor desires Kirk, maybe they have rough!sex?). The Empire ends up fearing Kirk. Superbonus - Kirk meets the Romulan Commander outside of battle and gains the respect of the empire. Maybe they have a mutual attraction? Or father/son.

Can anybody try and write a fem!spock X kirk? The plot doesn't matter. It can be alwaysagirl!spock, temporarygirl!spock, or anything.

Bonus points for any other characters involved and for non-generic plot.

No fem!kirk

Spock and Uhura come from very wealthy and famous families and attend the Interplanetary Academy for Gifted Minds that is a few miles outside San Francisco, CA. They are best friends, at the top of the social ladder in the academy, and really want to find their soulmate/T'hy'la as their parents have.

James Kirk and (Scotty or Galia, your choice) are orphaned/run aways and poor. They're admitted to the academy on scholarship that also requires them to have a job at the academy. (It's with a teacher that believes they're stupid, is disgusted by them, and thinks they're sleeping with someone of high status either inside or outside of the school as an explanation for their admission) In addition, they also have an extra job outside of school.

They share a run down two room apartment together (bathroom and other) that is an hour from the academy, since the dorms provided by and near the academy are super expensive. This living arrangement has mostly everyone believing that they're sleeping with each other, even though all they are are best friends. (They tried to be lovers, but it got too awkward quickly and felt wrong to both of them)

However, they are geniuses that are on par with Spock and Uhura level of intelligence. But they still are on the very bottom run of the social ladder (which seems to be on the verge of falling off the damn thing entirely) and are condsidered to be slobs or carriers of some kind of disease, physical or social in form.

After days of staring and watching/stalking the two mentioned above, Spock and Uhura are loving (Not "in love", which is a dominant/subordinant power relationship, not one of equality. Just remember: Being in love is like being in a ditch, they're both out of your control.) Jim and (Scotty or Galia) respectively.

Problem is that Jim and (Scotty or Galia) have no experience of serious and honest non-platonic loving, so they don't believe Spock and Uhura. Thus, the two wealthy teens must roll up their uniform shirt sleeves and learn the art of wooing in order to have their love reciprocated by the insecure, poor geniuses.

Happy Ending Please!

Pairings: Jim/Spock and (Scotty or Galia)/Uhura

Bottom Jim in sex scenes too, please.

Right after the Narada incident, the Emperor, who is becoming a bit unpopular with rumors of uprising starting to trickle in, decrees that the recently widowed Mrs. Kirk and her sons be moved to San Francisco and be under his care. Winona is very suspicious of this, despite her depression, and remarries Frank, a best friend and loyal confident of hers, to raise her sons and protect them from the Emperor as she starts her extensive Starfleet duty, which she is suddenly given by the Emperor himself.

As Sam and Jim grow up, they are constantly held at a large distance away from the scheming ruler. However, one day Jim slips under Frank's and Sam's watch and guard, and wanders into the Emperor in the large mansion they live in with said ruler. Too Pretty for the egotistical ruler to resist, Jim is suddenly trained to be and becomes his consort at a young age, even though Jim wants to be a Starfleet Captain instead. When Frank finds out, he tries to get Jim back, but is punished harshly and made a cripple. Sam tries to get his baby brother back and loses an eye. When Winona finds out... Well, she suddenly disappears and is never heard from again. Thus, Jim remains under the Emperor's control, given all the books and luxuries he wants, but is never allowed to have any relationship with anybody else. Any time the Emperor allows him to leave to go else where, Jim is covered from from head to toe in clothing and wears a plain mask, in addition to a large barrage of guards around him.

However, things change when Jim is eighteen: the rarely seen empire of Vulcan appears and wages war against the Terran Empire. It ends quickly once the humans realize what they want and allow him access to their Emperor, if they promise to treat them better than their now former ruler did. Thus, the Emperor is publicly killed and the Vulcans now rule Earth and their somewhat vast Empire. During a raid of the Emperor's many homes, but focussed on the one in San Francisco, Jim is found, clothed in the manner that allows him to be outside when he was under the Emperor's rule. But once Jim realizes what has happened, he takes things into his own hands: he manipulates the Vulcans to get him in one of their very advanced but small spaceships, kicks them out, and steals it.

When the Vulcan empire hears of this, they send Spock, a halfbreed that is cherished on Vulcan for his ability to out do any warrior and conquering many planets for them, to retrieve the thief because of one thing: unknowingly, Jim is wearing a holy and sacred artifact stolen from Vulcan that is said to only worn by those destined to be especially great for Vulcan itself.

So basically I want a Spock/Jim story here in which Spock is logical but also emotional and very toppy with a clever, genius, and defiant Jim (who is a bottom and a teasing one at that).

Bonus if Spock has a certain human crew to help him track Jim.

Bonus if Jim does become great in that he saves Vulcan from the deranged Nero with some help of his seduction skills, which pisses off Spock once Nero is dead and the Narada is destroyed and has him fucking Jim in the transporter to remind him who he's mated to.

Another Bonus if Spock Prime (remember this is the mirror verse) is accompanied by Kirk Prime (again mirror verse), who he resurrected and bonded to him as his bondmate, and the two meet Spock and Jim of this verse and start making all kinds of weird comments that alluded to similar things that happened in the prime universe that almost made it have a similar outcome to this one. And have Spock Prime become touchy-feely possessive with his T'hy'la when he learns of this.

Super duper bonus for Spock and Jim first meeting in a club in which Jim manipulates Spock into position for Jim to ride his green cock as Spock tries desperately to not only get his hands on the artifact, but also prevent himself from getting lost in the sex and proceeding to fuck Jim's brains out and claim him as his mate.

It's Parents' Day at Starfleet Daycare&School and the brats from the Enterprise are going to show everyone why their parents are better. At everything. With charts, logic and Power Point presentations too.

(Don't know why, character selection doesn't have Spock and Kirk, but they obviously are in the prompt/ff.)

Basically, AOS does Ocean's Eleven

Danny Ocean - smooth con man - Chris Pike
Rusty Ryan - 2nd in command, always eating - Jim Kirk
Linus Caldwell - naive yet talented pickpocket - Carol
Basher Tarr - munitions - Scotty
Frank Catton - inside man - Uhura
Turk Malloy - Sulu
Virgil Malloy - Chekov
Saul Bloom - experienced con / impersonator - Gaila
Reuben Tishkoff - bankroll & advisor - McCoy
Livingston Dell - technology/hacker - Spock
Yen - grease monkey - Keenser

Benedict - Admiral Marcus
Ocean's ex-wife - Number One

I just thought it would be a brilliant AU

Follow the movie for the most part, improvise where desired, keep the characters, well, in character

In which Spock or Old Spock is amazing at picking up chicks and Kirk is confused.
Please include witty Gaila or Uhura
-Bonus if Spock picks up someone Kirk has been trying for all night
-Extra Bonus if Spock eventually takes pity on Kirk and a sexy threesome ensues (can be any pairing)

I'd like to see a slash AU based on The Italian Job with lots of angst, romance, and intrigue.  I'd also like to see a charming, but still take-charge Jim and a vulnerable, but not-girly bottom Spock.  Either Reboot or TOS - authors choice with:

  • Kirk - the planner
  • Spock - the safe-cracker
  • Scotty - the gadget and explosives expert
  • Sulu - the getaway specialist
  • Chekov - the computer and systems expert
  • Pike - Spock's mentor

There is a faction on Vulcan that is planning on taking over the government, throwing out Surak's precepts, turning their back on the Federation, and taking the planet back to a system of warlords and feudal clans.  The coup is being backed by the Romulans and Sarek found out about it.  He was assassinated for his knowledge, but not before he got a message off to his son.  The message spelled out the danger and the name of the leader, but without proof, Spock, a security consultant for LLoyd's of Terra, can't warn his government.  On his own and using his family's wealth to finance the venture, he finds the best thieves in the galaxy to aid him in securing the proof from the culprit's heavily fortified compound.

* Bonus points for Spock being disturbed by his attraction to Jim and for Jim to charm the pants off of him figuratively and literally.

* Bonus points for H/c Spock.

* Bonus point for Bones being included in the cast.

I really loved the movie and if you can figure out a way to transfer it into the Star Trek universe you will have my eternal gratitude as well as a bribe of Triple Chocolate Brownies.

To Heal a Sundered Soul

I’ve never made a challenge before, so forgive me if this is kind of rambling.  Abrams universe, please with fluff kept to a minimum and lots of angst, but a happy ending is a must! Spock/bottom and if you want to make it an mpreg, I wouldn’t kick up a fuss about it.

Spock and Jim are unconsiously linked and are able to access knowledge from each other.

Spock is mentally mature, but not sexually.  Technically he's still going through Vulcan puberty.

The story starts:

Ambassador Sarek and his pregnant wife were on a VDC (Vulcan Diplomatic Corps) ship when they received the distress call from the Kelvin.  Amanda and Winona go into labor at the same time.  James and Spock are born simultaneously.  The Vulcan ship rescues several of the shuttles, Winona and Jim’s included.  They are both taken to the healing bay where Winona refuses contact with her premature baby, irrationally blaming him for his father’s death.

Spock is unable to nurse due to his mother’s milk being incompatible with his physiology, but the Vulcan healer wants to mix Amanda’s milk with Vulcan nutrients to make it acceptable.  Amanda’s milk is being humanly stubborn and refuses to come in for a manual breast pump.  One of the healers gets the idea for Amanda to wet-nurse a premature Jim, giving him what he needs and getting Amanda’s body the stimulus it requires for milk production.

Both babies are kept in a bassinet in Amanda’s room where they snuggle together and cry when separated.  While nursing the small bundle, Amanda forms an attachment to Jim.  When the ship gets back to Vulcan, Winona and her son are transferred to a Starfleet ship for their journey back to Earth.  Amanda and Spock grieve for the loss.

Spock is given a rudimentary bond to T’Pring at age seven, but gets painful headaches that he doesn’t tell his parents about.  He is aware of her contempt for him and thinks that her rejection is the cause of his difficulties.  He wants to please his father and learns to be twice the Vulcan as his peers, but no matter how well he does, he always feels empty and lacking.  At sixteen his father wants him to create a betrothal bond with T’Pring so that they will be drawn together at his Ponn Farr.  His mind and body rebel at the thought of having any more contact with her and he runs away to Earth.  Deciding that the only place he would feel welcome in the whole galaxy would be Starfleet, he uses Andorian? years (on Vulcan, he’s still a minor and a ward of his father until his first ponn farr) which is technically not a lie, to meet the age requirements.

Winona finds the first man she can stomach to marry and saddle with her children so that she can resume her career in Starfleet, preferably as far from Earth as she can get.  Frank is an alcoholic opportunist who is as opposite in looks and temperament to George Kirk as Winona could find.  He sees Winona as an easy meal ticket, spending her salary on himself and letting the kids live in squalor; he is physically and mentally abusive.  Looking for love in all of the wrong places, Jim tries to fill his emptiness with sex and eventually, following Sam’s lead runs away and winds up in San Francisco.

Amanda leaves Sarek over the treatment of her son and goes back to Earth.  She’s sure that Spock will want to join Starfleet, so makes her way to San Francisco where she gets a job as an English professor at a local college.  Knowing that Spock needs to prove his choices are right, she monitors him, but does not approach.  She bumps into Jim and he feels familiar, so she invites him to stay with her.  He eases the loneliness she feels for her own son and she fills part of his need for family.  In their four years together, she helps Jim finish school to enroll in Starfleet Academy.

Four years have passed and Spock, as expected has excelled and is now a full professor where he meets a brash cadet whom he’s immediately attracted to; he doesn’t understand the feelings and avoids the young human.  Unlike most Vulcan’s, Spock finds it easy to interact with humans – it’s like he just knows how to avoid socially awkward situations.  He’s had people show sexual interest in him before, but without encouragement, they usually fade away or turn to companionship, like his friend, Nyota.

Jim feels an immediate attraction to a Vulcan professor on campus, but doesn’t tell Amanda.  He doesn’t know much about her, except that she used to be married, has lost her son and whenever anything Vulcan comes up, it upsets her.  Wanting to impress Professor Spock, Jim hacks into the Vulcan’s pet project, the programming of the Kobayashi Maru test.  He doesn’t need anyone’s help to do it; it just seems to come to him.

*Your preference after the disciplinary hearing and Vulcan’s distress call.

*Spock saves his father and Sarek is forced to acknowledge that his son’s choices were valid.  He also informs a grieving Spock that his mother is safe on Earth.

*Jim goads Spock into losing control and the minute their flesh touches for the first time, the t’hy’la bond triggers and Spock goes into ponn farr, but they don’t have time to consummate it now.  Once the dust settles, Spock discovers his chronic headaches are gone and Dr. M’Benga deduces that they were caused by Spock’s mind rejecting the bond with T’Pring.

Bonus: Amanda chewing out Winona for her neglect and blackmailing her for Jim’s custody.

Bonus:  Tortured Sarek, thinking his family would be better off without him, grows more understanding of emotions.

Bonus: Gaila (not dying) and being in a stable relationship with Nyota.

Bonus: Happy family reunion (Sarek, Amanda, Spock and Jim) in San Francisco.

Bonus: Bones getting the last word.

If you take this on, you’ll earn my eternal gratitude!

Ok, so I have this idea, but it turns out that I can't write crack very well.

So here's my challenge:

I want a crack!fic (preferably with multiple chapters/stories/authors), where Jim and Spock (Abramsverse) keep getting transported into different universes by accident.

-Genderbent universe

-Mirror universe

-Prime universe

-Spock-is-human universe

-Kirk/Spock bonded in the Academy universe

-3 weeks into the future (future boys remember this happened, and are still trying to figure out how to fix it)

-Maybe implied mpreg?  Have K/S's kid running around causing havoc

-The set of Star Trek: TOS being filmed (this would cause some mental breakdown in the actors XD)

-Basically anything cracktastic that you can think of!

UNLESS THEY'RE KIDS AT THE TIME.  A kid!fic chapter is also acceptable :D

-Scotty says "I think we broke the universe!"  AND/OR  "I cannae change the laws of phys-- oh, right."  (your choice on how to work that in!)

-Every incarnation of Spock has some form of dislike towards himself, whether it be because he has issues, or because he's jealous/protective of his t'hy'la

-At the start, our Abramsverse boys have only a grudging working relationship, but after seeing so many universes where they're together... they just can't deny it anymore

-They get sent to multiple universes so many times, that Jim ends up having a rant about it (probably 3 or 4 universes in).  Maybe an exasperated sigh and/or comment every time it happens again.

-Many chapters/stories!  At least 4, but would be awesome for it to be ongoing.  Collabs are encouraged :D

Have fun!
