This is a really sad story, actually. Poor Spock! All by himself....left to go through such a terrible event.....dumped with some experimental med, nobody round to really care bout him or for him. If he had reacted badly to the med, or had any serious events during the seizures....which are terrible in and of themselves!....he could have just died....alone!  Then what....Enterprise returns to pick up his body?  Seems really cold, irresponsi of both Kirk and McCoy to just give in to Spock, knowing he was not making decisions for himself based on clear thinking!

McCoy is stubborn and gruff and gentle, Spock is just as stubborn and aching body and mind...

Yes another wonderfully, heartbreakingly wonderful story of yours!

I really enjoyed your take on a Pon Farr fic.  It's not too often that I've come across a Pon Farr story that didn't end with wild monkey sex, so this was quite refreshing (not that I have anything against wild monkey sex stories, lol).  The imagery of fire was very apropos for Spock's situation, and I especially liked how it took on comforting dimensions in the end.

All in all, an intriguing, very well-written story; you should be very proud of yourself for creating such a gem.  Cheers!
