I would say to NOT rerad what is posted here. As I post the story on AO3 I am rewriting each chapter to correct the horrible grammar. And, since I know my characters a lot better, make the chapters better as well. By the time I complete this story (which will be a while yet) I will likely have caught up with rewriting any of the previous bits and I'll repost the whole thing. By then maybe you'll have time to read a novella. :D (I really don't know how long this will be, but it will be up there with some of the longer ones; I think it may top over 400k and I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not. I'm just a fan of stories on an epic scale. When I started this I knew it would be long, I just wasn't sure how long.)

Oops, sorry for not reviewing other chapters! This is one of my favorite stories on the ksarchive - especially the first few chapters (up to Jim's return from being captured), which I've read several times :))) I'm so glad Jim finally met his son! I don't understand, though, why Carol would smirk upon seeing Jim, then seem sincerely remorseful a minute later? Just a bit odd. Otherwise, love this chapter! :) Keep it up!

As far as Carol's change of heart, there is a prequel story I wrote that I haven't fully finished that would explain a lot about Carol and what exactly occurred when she found out that Jim was pregnant. Her change from smirk to apology was brought about by a combination of things: A conversation she had with T'remel the day she hurt Jim, nother was her deep reflection with the Ha'Tshi but the most important reason was a very pissed off Vulcan!

Thanks for letting me know that the footnotes I put in didn't come through. I'll have to fix that when I go from a .docx to a .txt As a mattet of fact it brought some other things to my attention as well, like italics not coming out.
