I have been enjoying your tale.  Nice to the Talosians crop up in another story.  It always seemed a tad illogical to me that the Federation did not want contact with the Talosians.  Certainly other advanced races were not so feared.  Glad you are going to fix that - if I read the tea leaves correctly.

I am interested to find the true motivations of these people. Not that I believe you can ever logically explain why destroying a species would make sense.  But even nut cases have their reasons for their beliefs I suppose.

Looking forward to rest.

Definitely needs the subsequent chapters if and when you are up to it. When I re read this it occurred to me that it’s plot is very episode like. i Could almost see the scenes play out. I also think you have captured the cadence of Spockian dialogue really well.

Actually this is looking to be a tale of intrigue. The dangers and misuse of telepathy are rarely covered as we are afraid of the reflections on Spock. We skirt over McCoy's very real  fear and the moral implications  that telepathy engenders. . So  it seems there are few  non mirror universes that get to grips with the  real  nature of the alien iand  the primal fear inhereNt in   the contemplation of telepathy. . It will be interesting to follow this  tale especially what  Spock has seen and whether he is  Keeping secret who he considers to be behind this . I look forward to seeing how the story  proceeds so far a good statrt and deserving far more reviews.          ..............||

Author's Response:

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a review!  The first three chapters of this sunk without a trace, and I was considering pulling the story from the site, for fear that I'd inadvertently offended people somehow.

I love telepathy -- both Spock's Vulcan telepathy and the telepathy of other characters in other science fiction stories -- so I enjoy thinking and writing about it.  I"m glad you're enjoying that aspect of the story!
