Well, I believe Spock was able to understand Humans well in that one and say one of the only things that would get Jim Kirk to join Starfleet. Thank you for a lovely fic!

Lovely tale, I love the interaction between the two of them, the underlaying tension which already preannounces the force with which they will be drawn to each other. Might be the prequel to a longer AU fic?
