I'm amazed that you still managed to keep Spock so convincing despite the plot, especially his logical thought process in the lab. Amazing.

This could definately have been an offical episode (well, ahem, almost). Too bad I can't help but see Gorn before me when anyone mentions lizard people.
And of course I'm partial to any story involving scent and it's chemical foundation (but that's just my OC talking). Would you mind if I mentioned Tressa bark in one of my stories? Just casually, I mean? I don't know why, but it amuses me to tie fanfic stories together in a universe of their own.
Author's Response:
Go ahead -- just mention me (and this story) someplace in the notes so that some future K/S scholar doesn't think I copied you without giving permission :P (or wondering what pronovel or episode that was from!) I'm glad you found it episode-worthy; Actual Episode-style Plot was always difficult for me (leaning toward intimacy and snappy dialogue) so I was always very proud when I was finally able to come up with something.
And Hypatia, who I eventually married, STILL loves the "kept everything simple, for the lizards" line. Household lingo, that.

Woo, nice. I loved it. I love how SPock can keep his Vulcan dignity and still do as Jim wanted. Awesome.

Awesome piece, Farfalla!
The tale goes very well in the tv show tradition and the bit of kink that you added is deligthful. I would love to see a rendition of that picture.

I love this story! It's so sweet how Spock manages to meet Kirk's wish and Jim gave him his. Nicely done. Thank you!
