Story Notes:

As with all my other Christmas stories, this one is based on my own bacjground experiences, and yes, it does contain religious references.  Christmas has always been A Big Deal in my family--we decorated the entire house, Christmas carols playing in the background, and part of the tradition was that we made some of our own tree ornaments; my father and I made them from kits, but my mother made them with the individual components, from scratch, using metal ornaments as a foundation. We always kept every ornament made and set great store by them.  I inherited them all when my mother died, and I hang them every year, in addition to newer from-scratch ornaments that I'de made myself over the years since.

It looks like this is the last one I'm going to get posted in time for Christmas, so I hope you all enjoy it.  It's less "heavy" than the last one, but still angsty with lots of h/c for those who like that.  K&S ARE the main characters, but Spock's romantic relationship in my stories is with Christine Chapel, so there are elements of that here, as well.  Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all my fellow Kirk-(whatever)-Spock fans who read this. This is your present. *g*
