Absolutely perfect! The characterization and writing was impeccable, and the story wonderfully sweet!

Terra Nova by Serenade Rated: ADULT (NC-17) starstarstarstarstar [Reviews - 117]
Summary:

Response to AlornJR's "Children of Love" challenge, which is as follows:

"When Vulcans choose bond mates for their kids they put small groups of 7-8 year olds in a telepathy enhancing room and let them play/interact. A bond maker sits in the room and "reads" which kids are best together and gives the parents a list of mates for their kids. It usually takes three to five of these "play dates" to fill a list. Parents then take the lists and use them to pick bond mates for the children.

Now Spock is nearly 8 and has been to many of these "play dates" and still his list is empty. What no one gets is that Spock has bonded to a human kid he met at the embassy just before his seventh birthday, and continues to "sneak" away to see whenever he can."

Thanks for the feedback! I've updated several things based on your feedback. I'm running un-beta'd at the moment ;D

Summary:

"Getting Spock to freak out and throttle him was almost too much fun; partially because of the revenge and the nostalgia of it, but mostly because of the cheap thrill. "

Pretty much everyone, given enough time, will want to screw Jim Kirk - species, gender, or previous sexual identity not withstanding. So why the hell is it taking Spock so long to notice him?

This story was exceedingly well-written and paced perfectly! It never failed in any means to keep me excited to continue reading, and I adored the process of maturation that you illustrated in Jim in terms of his relationships with not only Spock, but his entire crew. The dialogue seemed perfectly in character, and I found myself literally laughing out loud multiple times. The entire thing was brilliant, and I look forward to reading more of your works in the future!

That is so kind, thank you!
