Set after the Amok Time Mission; possibly an AU, if you think it has to be... McCoy makes an emergency call to Jim, in the middle of the night, on Spock's behalf - and this leads to Jim and Spock admitting their love for one another.
Jim was kidnapped, and has been put on sabbatical, to take his time recovering. Spock found an excuse to stay by his side - though they actually find he doesn't need an excuse!
After re-reading a thousand times, I have only just found the few typos/confusing bits - so, those are corrected now.

Spock is recovering from a virus he contracted on some otherwise 'unimportant' mission. The virus did not help. It brought a few things to a head for Spock, and for Jim... Mention of tough times and mixed up behaviour that Spock needs to heal from...

I know that, in reality, sex in freezing temperatures likely wouldn't happen, and, if it did, it would probably give them heart attacks - but this is what happens in this story. A slight kink in this story, but nothing of the Disciplinging or Disrespecting sort. No BDSM. No Chan - I HATE that - just an exploration of the possible reasons for another kink.

The second chapter was written to address my concerns about the reality being that sex in these freezing cold conditions is not recommended, for health reasons, even if, by some miracle, it might be possible. As of Feb 8th 2016, I have also added a line or two in each story, and made some typo corrections, etc... Only just noticed they needed doing, after already having read and re-read this story a dozen times or more when I first wrote and posted it.
Jim knows that Spock, his lover, (his Sweetheart, his T'hy'la) truly, will always love him - and Spock knows that Jim (his Ashaya -Sweetheart- and T'hy'la) will always love him. They both know that each other knows that they are loved, AND that this Love will exist, No Matter What might come to both, or either one, of them, in the future...
